Welcome to Unapologetically Country Apparel!
My name is Brandon. Growing up I always had an obsession for hats. I started a collection of hats from different brands that I admired and related to. I am a Blue Collar country boy born and raised in Southern Saskatchewan who has since moved to Alberta to follow my wife as we started our family.
My father and hero who got me started with hats was diagnosed in early 2019 with stage 4 colon cancer. He was a Blue Collar man who lived and breathed the outdoors and the ideal country lifestyle. He fought hard for Five and a half years taking chemo, undergoing countless surgeries and getting the living hell drained out of him. This man worked 12 hour days, drove countless hours to visit his children and grandchildren, took the time to go fishing and hunting all while taking the highest dose of chemo treatments his body could handle. I was convinced nothing could kill my father until the day he took his last breathe. I watched the man I grew up thinking was superman become fragile and helpless. My father passed away at the age of 59 just 2 weeks after his birthday. He worked countless years for other people and sacrificed his entire life for his family with nothing to show for it in the end.
I told myself after he had passed that I would not follow the same path of making money for other people. I promised myself I would do something that I enjoyed and that could create financial freedom for my family and I without breaking my back to line someone else' pockets.
3 Months later Unapologetically Country Apparel was born.
This is not just another apparel brand. This is a statement. This is for the people in the worn out trucks who fear failure more than anything. This is for the people who believe that a life of hard work should equal a life of freedom. This is for anyone who is done building someone else's last name.
This is our stand. This is for the builders, the fighters, the ones who refuse to die with nothing to show for it.
